The club is open to anyone interested in Amateur Radio and is or has a desire to become a Amateur Radio Operator.  We work for the betterment of our community and offer our services to many local agencies such as The County of Galveston, Red Cross and area Law enforcement agencies.  We have a Hamfest every year with the proceeds going towards the maintenance of local repeaters and other Amateur Related endevors.  We try to participate in emergency drills, Field Day and support local sporting events, air shows, fun runs and any request from local agencies.  We have an active on the air net each week where anyone checking in may participate with worth while information or get questions answered on the air.  We support two local repeaters and a Packet digipeater.
