Additional Information: Fun Radio Licensing Class for all. Enjoy life more with a radio license: family activities, scouting, survival, emergency preparedness, camping, hiking, boating, cutting edge radio, WIFI, and electronics This exciting 2 Saturday radio class is for you and everyone with NO radio knowledge. One just needs to know how to multiply and divide or use a calculator. You will get everything you need to pass the test and get an amateur radio license. You don’t need to learn Morse Code or CW. Amateur radio is a very exciting, cutting-edge hobby. You can talk around the world on a radio that cost less than $50. There is over a 95% pass rate from the test at the end of the class, and many pass the second level test, also. A 7 year-old has passed the first and second test. Many families attend. There are over 60 plus pages of handouts with 160 illustrations and quizzes and many items to see, feel and handle. 4 or 5 instructors will answer your individual questions. Informative videos and songs will make this a fun class for all. Do something exciting for yourself. Meet new friends. Get your radio license and be prepared. Ham radios are great for Emergency preparedness, Scouts, Survivalist, Hiking, Camping, and Boating. When the earth shakes, power goes out and phones stop working, you’ll have the ANSWER. You can get to the Internet from our radio, and get news and be able to talk to people. You will be informed. You can be the ‘GO TO’ person. Recommended book is the ARRL Ham Radio Licensing Manuel, 5th edition. Please register so your handouts can be prepared. Register by sending your Name and the Dates of the class you want to attend, in an email to, Daniel Stevens, at KL7WM@aol.com
