Yaesu instructions say to connect both positive and negative wires to their respective battery terminals, but ALL online ham radio sites recommend to NEVER connect the negative supply wire directly to the battery; they say to connect the negative wire to the vehicle chassis. Should I listen to the manufacturer or all the seasoned ham radio experts? |
