I am looking for a unun design for 100% duty cycle operation in the HF bands. I want to be able to run 300 to 400 watts out, if needed on FT8. I want to place the unun at the point where the coax enters the shack. In my reading I decided to go with a toroid configuration, specifically FT240-43 With 14AWG wire. I believe a double stack of cores would dissipate the generated heat. The thing is, I haven't found a drawing that shows how to wind the cores. Can you help? Thanks.

I think this site does a good job of describing and illustrating the winding of a 49:1 unun. In fact it shows the double core stack and wire gauge you mention...almost like its custom made just for you! LOL
