| Well, I got it to work but only after the modification I found on line to open up RX over 150 MHZ. clip the yellow wire on the plug by J8. Easy Peazy. |

| For some reason my IC 706 won't pick up the Noaa weather frequency. I can tune to it, but won't receive. I could swear it used to, and maybe I just forgot something, but anyway ... Works fine on the usual repeaters, and while I know it won't transmit out of band, it should received i believe up to 200 mhz, and noaa in our area is on 162.55. Or maybe I'm wrong and it only goes to 148 MHZ Thanks! |
