| Hello! I'm a new member, aiming for an October Technician test. I'd like to get started with a low investment rig, then source more deliberately after learning the fundamentals. Is this Ham Radio Starter Kit worth the $350 it costs? https://www.buytwowayradios.com/btwr-essentials-gsk-ham-kguv920p.html Will it provide a good starter experience? It's an appealing option to get started. Having something up front to configure and explore while studying will help a lot, but I'm not prepared to think about what I'll want in the future, after earning my General. Thank you! Ed |
