RE: Can Ham Radio and Solar Power co-exist |

RFI from solar components (inverters and charge controllers) is a big issue. Is ARRL or the FCC doing anything to resolve this issue? Any updates from anyone would be appreciated. What inverters and charge controllers are low RFI? I have big RFI problems from an Midnight 200 charge controller and a 3000 watt Samlux inverter.

I am curious if you got any answers to your question abouit a low RFI inverter? I have had RFI problems with a Samlux 3000 watt inverter which i purchased because it was supposedly low RFI. But is generates a lot of spurious radiation at least on 160 and 80 meters. Not so bad on 40 meters and above. |
