The Clark County Amateur Radio Club (CCARC) was organized in 1953 by a small group of local amateur radio operators in Jeffersonville, Indiana under the directions of the late Jack Himmelheber (W9JBQ). The club was incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1956 with the aim of promoting Amateur Radio as a hobby and to provide emergency communications for public safety agencies. The CCARC actively promotes the use of amateur radio in and by the community, taking part regularly in local activities and emergency response. Club information is posted regularly on our website as well as through our club Facebook page which can be located using the club call (W9WWI). The Club address is P.O.Box 201 Sellersburg Indiana 47172.
