In recent years, OCARS has shifted to a radio society primary focusing on education & hands on experiences for operators whom are interested in learning repeater site operations. This includes things such as equipment back-haul setup & maintenance as well as tower maintenance & climbing safety. This is in addition to the multiple repeaters that offering a wide array of analog & digital modes open to any licensed operator to use.
