The ORANGE COUNTY AMATEUR RADIO CLUB is the oldest HAM RADIO CLUB in Orange County in southern California. We have a club historian who maintains records back to the 1930's.  The club is a "general purpose" ham radio club. OCARC has a WEB SITE (www,W6ZE.org) and a monthly newsletter with technical articles and news of current club events and ham radio events, Our club keeps the dues low and offers membership discounts to families and students so that membership is affordable for everyone. Most of our members were also professionals in technical fields. This brings additional technical expertise to our ranks. The club also holds a yearly auction for radios related equipment. The auction is well attended by members and visitors, and is a lot fun for everyone. The GOTA station at Field Day is a great vehicle to introduce new hams into the fun of contests. OCARC is a general purpose ham club with DX and building our own antennas and equipment, and public service as components while trying to keep the club as general purpose, do as to not exclude anyone,
